MEMBERSHIP

Anyone interested in classical music, and who is keen to meet other volunteers, is invited to join the Associates of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.

There are many ways to support the organization. ATSO volunteers secure music for concerts; publicise concerts through the Five Small Concerts brochure as well as via print, radio and TV; ensure that concerts run smoothly; fundraise to make concerts possible; and organize the Informal evenings. In addition, the Associates have recently resumed the "Grassroots" concerts series, a program of free concerts for people living in senior citizens' homes, mental health facilities, and correctional institutions. These concerts are being enthusiastically received, and are very rewarding to present.

Benefits of membership include:

• 5 single tickets for the Five Small Concerts.
• 2 complimentary tickets that can be used for any of these concerts. We encourage members to give these to friends and relatives who are interested in classical music and who may wish to subscribe in the future.
• Attendance at 10 monthly Informal evenings with other members.

Membership fees

The annual fee is $110 a year ($100 a year for seniors, age 65 and over).
